Hi! Welcome to my blog!
In August last year I felt led to go a short term mission trip to Pietermaritzburg and it was an amazing experience, first doing mission work and evangelism in surrounding schools and hospitals and then being part of the celebration of 50 years of African Enterprise. I made many friends and really wanted to go back. I was offered an internship to come back and work for African Enterprise and after months of preparation I am returning!
On the 4th Feb I leave for South Africa where I will do voluntary work for African Enterprise and I'll be away for four months (or more, depending on whether I decide to stay longer). I am very excited about this experience and looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me whilst away.
I will try to post daily updates so you can follow how I am going and what I am up to each day.

Thanks Hamish. Sounds great so far. We are reading this in the internet cafe on the ship. We are very excited about the cruise as well as what is happening to you. We should be able to read youe blog each day but had trouble accessing our emails. I dont know whether you sent one. Cottage sounds fun. Lots of love Dad and Mum. PS. the rest of the family watched us sailing out of Port Phillip Bay and were waving from the house at Mt. Martha.
