Had such a fun day yesterday. I did not go to church which was a shame, but instead I ventured to Durban with 14 of the American students. Though it was a cold day in Pietermaritzburg, in Durban the weather was humid (yet still overcast). The car trip took roughly an hour and a half.
Once we got there we looked at the market and then headed to the beach. I was considering jumping off the pier, which some of the others did, but I wasn't confident enough. However I did swim. The waves were big and I got submerged several times but it was fun. The water was so warm compared to the Pacific Ocean! Afterwards we threw the footy around (they showed me the proper way to hold a footy and throw it) and then we had pizza on the beach.

On TV for the last few weeks has been a David Attenborough doco on Africa. He talked about the Agulhas Current which brings warm water down from near the Equator to the East coast of South Africa. Hence your warm swim. Sounds like a really fun day. You will miss the American students. Love Mum

Hi, thanks for your comment! Good to know that you are enjoying my blog. Yeah I am having a good time! I actually didn't go camping, only hiking but it was still fun. I am enjoying being around all the girls, though they leave in a few weeks which will be a bit sad. Thanks, I would appreciate prayer for the work I have to do.

Hi Hamish, there are many praying for you . The Melbourne prayer group meets this Saturday so if you have some special points could you please send them by Friday your time so that i can print them for Saturday our time!!

Hi, thanks for praying for me. If I have any prayer requests I will let you know. I haven't done any digital archiving yet, I have been busy designing brochures and invites etc. Gloria has been looking after me very well, I've been enjoying going next door to their place and watching TV with them.
